GLADYS LAVERNE “FIFI” (GOMES) PETERSON Age 72, of Hilo, Hawaii, formerly of Kalihi Valley, Passed away on October 23, 2009. She attended St. Theresa School and was the first graduating class of Star of the Sea Catholic School. Survived by husband, Henry; Sons; Alexander “Alika” and Rockne Miller. Daughter; Charmaine ”Kanoe” (John) Pakele, Grandson; Kadeen Pakele, brothers; Herbert (Beatrice) Gomes, Donald (Marian) Gomes, sister; Agnes Alcover. Also survived by Stepchildren, Lorraine Dion, Winona Kaahanui, Terry Miyamoto, Susan Peterson, Frank Peterson and Maihi Peterson. 18 Step grandchildren and 20 step great-grandchildren.
