GUY DARWIN NICHOLAS was born on September 14, 1956 in Corvallis, Oregon. He passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 53. Guy attended grade school in Kaneohe, Hawaii andlater graduated from Maryknoll High School in 1974. At the time of his death Guy was employed atHabilitat, Kaneohe, Hawaii, where he counseled, taught woodworking classes and mentored. Guy was well known for his woodworking artistry along with his special talent in the restoration of motorcycles. His love of surfing was neverending. Survivors include his Mother Pat (Bob) Merna, Aunt Sharon (Maynard) Richmeier, Aunt Bonnie (Larry) Thornley, Aunt Cheryl (Lonnie) Davey, numerous cousins, his good friend Eric Vandervoort plus hisextended Habilitat family. Guy will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, a friend to all who knew him. His love for the ocean will be reflected when his ashes are scattered there at a later date.
